I only started following the club and watching football in 2003/4 because of my sons ( Ciaran ) interest in it. We started supporting Liverpool because that's where I was born ( even though my family were mainly Everton supporters! ). I think the Liverpool v AC Milan match was enough to hook anyone, what a night! I started the evening by trying to convince my son that even if we lose we have done well to get there etc, and it's not the end of the world, it's really only another match....by the end of the evening/night I was a completely exhausted, dazed wreck, but what a match, what a result, I was on a high for days afterwards and still watch that match over and over again to this day.

Comment 17/02/08. A little sad that we have gone out of the FA Cup, I know I'm not a manager or any expert, but I think Steven Gerrard and Fernando Torres should have started. We can always take players off when we are a few goals up! A bird in the hand is worth 2 in the bush! The FA Cup was a possible, now it's the big one or nothing! Still lets hope we shock Inter as we are the underdogs now... |
